This privacy statement explains what VZOR® user data is collected by VZOR SpA hereinafter “VZOR”, how it treats it and for what purpose it does so.

 

VZOR offers a wide range of products, including server infrastructure services used to help businesses around the world run. References to VZOR products used in this statement include VZOR services, websites, applications, software and server infrastructure. This statement applies to VZOR’s interactions with you and the VZOR products listed below, as well as other VZOR products on which this statement appears.

 

VZOR USER DATA WE COLLECT

VZOR collects your data, through our interactions with you and our products, for various purposes described below, including to operate effectively and provide you with the best experiences with our products.

 

Some of this data is provided directly, for example, when you create a VZOR account, manage your organization’s licensing account, submit a Google search query, register for a VZOR event, upload a document to VZOR® Suite 360°®, register in VZOR® Suite 360°® or contact us for technical support. Some of these we obtain by collecting data about your interactions, usage, and experiences with our products and communications.

 

To process data, we rely on various legal reasons and permissions (sometimes referred to as “legal bases”), including your consent, weighted legitimate interests, the need to enter into and perform contracts, and compliance with legal obligations, with various purposes described below. We also obtain data from third parties.

 

We protect data obtained from third parties in accordance with the procedures described in this statement and any additional restrictions imposed by the data source. These third-party sources vary over time and include:

  • Data brokers from whom we purchase demographic data to supplement the data we collect.
  • Services that make user-generated content on their service available to others, such as local business reviews or social media posts.
  • Communication services, including email and social network providers, when you give us permission to access your data on such networks or third-party services.
  • Service providers that help us determine the location of your device.
  • Partners with whom we offer shared services or engage in joint marketing activities.
  • Developers who create experiences using or for VZOR products.
  • Third parties that provide experiences through VZOR products.
  • Publicly accessible sources, such as open government databases.

You have choices regarding the technology you use and the data you share. When you are asked to provide VZOR user data, you may not do so.

 

Many of our products require some data from VZOR users in order to operate and provide a service to you. If you choose not to provide data necessary to operate and provide you with a product or feature, you may not be able to use that product or feature. Similarly, where we need to collect data from VZOR users by law, to enter into or perform a contract with you and you do not provide the data, we will not be able to enter into the contract; Or, if this is related to an existing product you are using, we may need to suspend or cancel it. In due course, we will notify you when this is the case.

 

The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with VZOR and the choices you make (including privacy settings), the products and features you use, your location, and applicable law.

The data we collect may include the following:

Name and contact information. Your first and last name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and other similar contact information.

 

Credentials. Passwords, password hints, and similar security information used for authentication and account access.

 

Demographic data. Data about you, such as your age, gender, country and preferred language.

 

Payment details. Data to process payments, such as your payment instrument number (for example, a credit card number) and the security code associated with your payment instrument.

 

Subscription and license data. Information about your subscriptions, licenses and other rights.

 

Interactions. Data on the use of VZOR products. In some cases, such as search queries, this is data you provide to use the products. In other cases, such as bug reports, this is data that we generate. Other examples of interaction data are as follows:

 

Usage and device data. Information about your device and the product and features you use, including information about hardware and software, and how our products work, as well as your settings. For example:

 

Payment and account history. Data about the items you purchase and the activities associated with your account.

 

Browsing history. Data about the web pages you visit.

 

Device data, connectivity and configuration. Data about your device, your device settings and nearby networks. For example, data about the operating systems and other software installed on your device, including product keys. In addition, the IP address, device identifiers (such as IMEI number for phones), regional and language settings, and information about WLAN access points near your device.

 

Bug reports and performance data. Data about the performance of the product and any problems you experience, including any bug reports. Error reports (sometimes called “core dumps”) can include details of the software or hardware associated with an error, the contents of files opened when an error occurred, and information about other software on the device.

 

Troubleshooting and help data. Information you provide when you contact VZOR for help, such as the products you use and other details that help us provide technical support. For example, contact or authentication data, the content of chats and other communications with VZOR, data about the state of the device and the products you use in connection with the help query. When you contact us, for example, for technical support, telephone conversations or chat sessions with our representatives may be monitored or recorded.

 

Interests and favorites. We collect data about your interests and favorites, such as the sports teams you follow, the programming languages you prefer, the stocks you are interested in, or the cities you add to learn about things like weather or traffic. In addition to those you explicitly provide, your interests and favorites may be inferred or derived from other data we collect.

 

Content consumption data. Information about media content (for example, TV, video, music, audio, textbooks, apps, and games) you access through our products.

 

Searches and commands. Look up queries and commands when using VZOR products with related search or productivity features.

 

Voice data. Voice data, sometimes called “voice clips”, such as search queries, commands or dictations that you speak, and which may include background sounds.

 

Text, handwritten and keyboard input data. Text, handwriting, typing data, and related information. For example, when we collect ink data, we collect information about the location of the device’s inking instrument.

 

Photos. Images and related information, such as image metadata. For example, we collect the image you provide when you use an image-enabled Google service.

 

Contacts and relationships. Data about your contacts and relationships, if you use a product to share information with others, manage contacts, communicate with others, or improve your productivity.

 

Social data. Information about the relationships and interactions between you, other people and organizations, such as the types of participation (for example, “Like” or “Dislike” votes, events, etc.) related to people and organizations.

 

Location data. Data about the location of your device, which may be accurate or inaccurate. For example, we collect location data using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) (for example, GPS) and data about nearby cell phone towers and Wi-Fi hotspots. Location may also be inferred from your IP address or account profile data that indicates where you are with less precision, for example, at the city or postal code level.

Another entry. Other inputs that are provided when using our products. In addition, if you use the VZOR CRM application and follow its instructions, we may also collect financial transaction data information from your credit card issuer to provide the service.

 

Content. Content of your files and communications that you enter, receive, create and control. If you receive an email using Outlook.com, we must collect the content of that email to send it to your inbox, display it, allow you to reply, and store it until you choose to delete it. Other content we collect when we provide products to you includes:

 

  • Communications, including audio, video, text (typed, handwritten, dictated, or otherwise generated), in messages, emails, calls, conference calls, or chats.

  • Photos, images, songs, movies, software, and other media or documents that you store, retrieve, or process in our cloud. 

  • Video or recordings. Recordings of events and activities in buildings, commercial spaces, and other VZOR locations. If you enter physical VZOR locations or other facilities, or attend a VZOR event that is recorded, we may process your image and voice data.

 

Comments and ratings. Information you provide to us and the content of messages you send us, such as comments, survey data, and product reviews you write.

 

Traffic data. Data generated by the use of VZOR communication services. Traffic data indicates who was contacted and when the communications occurred. We will only process traffic data that is necessary to offer, maintain and improve our communication services and we do so with your consent.

 

Cookie Usage Notice

 

Our Cookie Usage Notice provides detailed information regarding the use of cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies in relation to VZOR® SpA’s websites, applications, services, products, and tools, as well as your options in this regard. This Cookie Usage Notice should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy. This Cookie Usage Notice applies regardless of how you access and use our services.

  1. Information about the technologies we use

When you use our services, we make use of cookies and similar technologies (collectively referred to as “cookies”). We use only one type of cookie: those that are not stored on your device or that will only be stored on your device while your browser is active (referred to as session cookies).

The cookies used in relation to the services serve different functions:

They may be technically necessary for the provision of our services. They help us improve our services technically (e.g., monitoring error messages and loading times).

  1. What external services do we use apart from VZOR® SpA?

Our Google® Analytics service (the only external service to VZOR® SPA) uses a set of cookies to collect information and report site usage statistics without personally identifying individual Google visitors. ‘_ga’, the primary cookie used by Google Analytics, allows a service to distinguish one visitor from another and has a duration of 2 years. Any site that implements Google Analytics, including Google services, uses the ‘_ga’ cookie. Each ‘_ga’ cookie is unique to the specific property, so it cannot be used to track a specific user or browser on unrelated websites.
